Board Member Bob Puts is a retired Commander from the San Francisco Police Department. Bob enjoyed a 30 year career with SFPD where he served in various assignments including: uniformed patrol, plainclothes patrol, Inspector's Bureau, and Special Operations. Bob retired in 2004 and decided to join the corporate world as a member of the Corporate Security Department at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E). Bob is currently a Senior Investigator and Manager for PG&E.
Bob was born and raised in San Francisco, and is a second generation San Franciscan. Bob attended Saint Ignatius High School followed by San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business. Bob also serves on the advisory board of the University of San Francisco, and has been a Board member of the San Francisco Police Credit Union for the past 18 years.
Bob and his wife Debi, of 41 years, have resided in Burlingame for the past 31 years, where they raised their two sons, John and Dan. When not working or walking the neighborhood, Bob can be found at Burlingame's Prime Time, where he enjoys an occasional swim or work out.
